5 common concerns about trying Maxx ‘N Go.

On our roadshows and promotional tours, we’ve heard a number of concerns about trying Maxx N Go. We understand: it’s all part of innovation – the introductory period is a little rough. But we’re always looking for ways to improve, whether it’s our app interface or our technicians’ service.

So we’re narrowing down and addressing the 5 most common concerns about Maxx N Go we’ve heard, to prove to you that we’re one of the apps on your phone worth keeping.

Problem #1: Lack of trust – prefer to take your car to the workshop

We understand the concerns of car owners – a car is an expensive investment, so you don’t want just anyone messing around under the hood. Some of the questions we’ve heard:

  • Can I trust you with my car keys? Will my car still be here when I return?
  • How do I follow up on problems if there’s no shop to come back to?
  • Will a van be able to give me the same service I get with a fully-equipped workshop?
  • Will doing a car service in my house dirty my driveway?

These are all perfectly valid concerns. To give our customers peace of mind, we assure that all our technicians are trustworthy, full-time employees that are Trade Qualified to MoE (Ministry of Education) and MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency) standards and have at least three years of experience, so you can guarantee your car is in good hands.

To ensure consistent service, our technicians follow specific procedures for conducting your oil change and the 15-point car check, so no step is missed.

Besides this, our service vans are fully equipped with all the tools needed to perform a professional, clean oil change – which involves draining the old oil, replacing the filter, and adding new, clean oil. You can rest assured that your driveway will be as clean as it was before your service.

We employ an advanced technique which involves using suction to drain the old oil – this technique is professional, clean and effective. On older vehicles where this technique cannot be employed, we will use a jack or ramp to lift your car and carefully drain the oil into an oil pan, so there are no spillages.

Customers can see their service record within the app, which contains information like the date, location of service and name of the technician, so you can keep track of your service dates and know when to schedule your next oil change.

Besides that, we’re very attentive to customer feedback; so in the event that you have a problem, you can always call our hotline or get in touch with us via Facebook. We promise that every complaint and concern is taken seriously, and action will be taken to investigate any issue.

Problem #2: Assume it’s expensive

We strive to give our customer’s the best quality and value for money possible. Maybe we do too good a job at this – some see our advertisements, like the one below, and think it’s too good to be true.

Like, really? All of this? Free?

Well, you better start believing it.  With every service, you only pay for the oil – workmanship, delivery, standard service and even the oil filter are free. We’ll also throw in a free 15-point car inspection, which includes checking and refilling fluids free of charge.

You don’t need to worry that we’re marking up our oil prices to cover for all our freebies, either – you can check out our website for our oil’s retail price. The cost of your service will also be shown to you during booking and, that’s the price you will pay – no hidden costs.

Don’t be concerned that we’re skimping on the quality of our service and materials, either. Our technicians are well-trained with plenty of experience, and we only use quality oil filters manufactured by UMW/GEP for all Asian vehicle models. For European vehicles, we provide MANN, Hengst or MAHLE filters. All of our oil filters meet the OEM specifications set by the manufacturer.

Problem #3: Feel like they won’t use it

This problem is a little vague, but also quite common. The Maxx ‘N Go app won’t fall under the category of “time-waster” like a gaming app, nor is it a social media or finance app or anything like that, where you will use it everyday.

Unless you’re constantly pushing your vehicle to the limit, the recommended oil change interval for city cars is 5,000km or three months, whichever comes first. Depending on how many vehicles are in your household and what your oil change schedule is like, you’ll probably only open this app once a month or so.

Even so, we argue that Maxx N Go is an essential app to keep on any car owner’s phone.

Maxx ‘N Go makes use of the geolocation feature on your phone to bring the workshop to you, so you no longer need to spend your precious weekends waiting in a workshop to get your oil changed. You save a lot of time, as you can continue to relax at home or continue working in your office while we take care of your car.

This is a huge convenience for very busy people with no time to spare for car service. Stay-at-home parents don’t need to find a babysitter for their children, and office workers no longer need to take leave to get their car serviced.

All their problems: solved in one app.

To sweeten the deal, Maxx ‘N Go frequently runs promotions and contests, so follow us on Facebook to increase your chances of scoring a discount or driving away with a cool prize.

Problem #4: Concerned that Maxx ‘N Go is a scam

You can just take a stroll through the Google Play Store and see there are hundreds of apps in the Auto & Vehicles category – they do everything from helping you keep track of petrol prices to telling you how fast you’re going via GPS (maybe these people have a broken speedometer, I don’t know).

Some of these apps may be ways for developers to make a quick buck – here today and gone tomorrow, without a legitimate business backing them.

Rest assured, this is not the case with Maxx ‘N Go.

We’ve built a solid brand with ambassadors Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei and Tengku Djan Ley, besides having a dedicated fleet of service vehicles, employees and trained technicians.

Besides this, all of our technicians are full-time employees – no franchisees, contractors or agencies are used, so we maintain full control of quality and can maintain the highest standards.

We also have a physical service center to better serve our customers, so you can be sure that Maxx ‘N Go is a company that has no intentions of up and disappearing.

Problem #5: Problems using the app – can’t find vehicle/don’t understand etc.

We put a lot of work into making our interface as intuitive and user-friendly as possible. But not all of us are tech-savvy – it’s okay, we won’t judge. If you’re having any confusion about how to use the app, our website includes detailed instructions about how to use the app.

Simply go to and click on the “How to Use” tab to find the instructions. On the mobile site, tap on the “menu” button on the top right corner of your screen, then look for “How to Use” in the drop down menu.

There are also a lot of different vehicles in the market. We try our best to update our app with all the latest car models, but sometimes one or two will slip through the cracks. You can always get in touch with us via Facebook to let us know, and we will have it added in the next update.

If you’re still having trouble, drop us a line on Facebook and we’ll do our best to help.
